Please join us on Friday May 13th at 10:00 am in the Dining Hall of the Covington Senior Center for the cool sounds of LaDon Jones. Rich vocals and great showmanship are LaDon’s specialty. He sings American standards made famous by Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin and Nat King Cole.

PICNIC IN THE PARK

Friday May 27th beginning at 9:30, we will be celebrating Memorial Day at the park across the street, weather permitting. Everyone is asked to bring a sack lunch and drinks will be provided. We will enjoy fun, games and fellowship.

The TCCA Book Club holds a light discussion about various books or articles each month. Facilitator, Mrs. Charlene Mashburn is sure to bring a great read guaranteed to produce a hearty laugh for your soul. The club meets this month in the Craft Room at the Covington Senior Center.   The topic of discussion will be the always hilarious Erma Bombeck and her book, "Motherhood: The Second Oldest Profession".

Ms. Roslyn from Dr. Potter's office will take blood pressure readings. TCCA has partnered with local healthcare providers to offer this service. The healthcare agencies volunteer for these clinics free of charge and occasionally they are called away to emergencies so please understand if/when they are unable to come. Clinics are also available at Garland and Munford Senior Centers.
